The Paton S1 Series at the Tourist Trophy-Motorcycle News 2014
Italian race firm Paton is building a production version of the bike they plan to race at this year’s Isle of Man Lightweight TT race. The Paton S1 will get a hand-built chassis and be powered by a Kawasaki 650cc parallel-twin. Paton claim the 71hp bike will have a wet weight of 158kg, topping out at a maximum 133mph
Paton announced that its model S1 is mass produced in 2014 and committed to the next Tourist Trophy, Saturday 24 May to Friday, 6 June on the Isle of Man. To recap, the Paton S1, it is an engine of Kawasaki Er-6 mounted in a handmade frame for a given just 158 kg in running order motorcycle. Four versions of the Paton S1 available at prices ranging from $ 21974for the basic version to $ 31669 for First Factory Signature’ model, of which only 25 will be made. The track version of the S1 will contend this year ridden by 26-year-old British rider Olie Linsdell, who won last year’s Bennetts 500cc Classic TT on a Paton BIC 500 BL3 Replica.
As per announcement there are 2 versions of the front fairing will also be available in the market that is one with a dual-headlight setup and other one is a classic round headlamp.
