WSBK Laguna Seca Superbike Course 1 for Tom Sykes

Marco Melandri won his third victory of the season at the first of the two races of the day at Laguna Seca, which occurs in the ninth inning of the eni FIM Superbike 2014 World Championship.

Davide Giugliano (Ducati Superbike Team) took fourth place ahead of Toni Elias (Red Devils Roma Aprilia) and Jonathan Rea (Pata Honda World Superbike Team), which complemented the Top 6 despite start of race track output.

David Salom (Kawasaki Racing Team) won the victory in the EVO category finishing tenth before Niccolo Canepa (Ducati Althea Racing team) and Sylvain Barrier (BMW Motorrad Italia).

Leon Camier had him picked up the point of the fifteenth place in his first race with the MV Agusta Reparto Corse, behind Jeremy Guarnoni (MRS Kawasaki).
