For 2014, Aprilia sees again the most powerful of the roadsters to make it even more powerful but also safer, slightly and more convenient. Consequently available in a unique version, with package electronics suit of series, but in two colors (black or white); the new Aprilia Tuono V4R APRC ABS becomes more comfortable on road but always so radical!
170 horses and unique electronic equipment
In the free version, the Aprilia Tuono V4R 2014 engine sees so its maximum power 170 HP at 11500 rpm for a couple of 11.15 daN.m at 9,500 rpm, thanks to a redesigned exhaust and better management of electronics. The three maps (track, Sport and road) have of course re-calibrated accordingly.
The Aprilia Tuono V4R 2014 also receives the second generation of APRC, as well as the ABS Bosch 9 M which the RLM management limited the lifting of the rear wheel during sudden braking. This ABS can be disconnected and set on three parameters: track, Sport, and rain. Each can be associated with any of the three engine modes.
Always on the side of electronic audience, the new Aprilia Tuono receives ‘total’ Aprilia: ATC adjustable traction control on eight levels, anti-wheeling AWC three modes, Launch Control adjustable on three levels and Aprilia Quick Shift. Each can be set separately using a control on the handlebar.

Furthermore, the Aprilia Tuono V4 R APRC ABS enjoys inherits from new radial calipers, Brembo M432 biting of the disk of 320 mm in diameter for a still more efficient and reassuring braking.
The new reversed fork Sachs of 43 mm, treated with the titanium nitride, has an adjustment of priestesses on the two tubes. The shock absorber Sachs with separate tank and arises adjustable preloads some, compression and relaxation and in length, allows adjusting the plate in all situations, including for the duet charged.
More bearable on road
Extreme sporting roadster par excellence, Aprilia Tuono V4 R fished by practical aspects at the very least… Absent! In 2014, is the machine civilized a little, with a more accessible saddle, a re-examined general ergonomics and – especially? – A new tank whose capacity passes from 17 to 18.5 liters. No what to transform Tuono into GT, but the effort is creditable. However check during a test of the beast… the Aprilia Tuono V4 R APRC ABS is already in delivery in the network and its price is announced to €13,999.
